Press Statement
The Government of the Republic of the Sudan welcomes the statements issued by brotherly and Friendly Nations that have unequivocally condemned and rejected the illegitimate announcement by the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and its affiliate, the so-called “Ta’sis” alliance, regarding the formation of what they have termed a “parallel government” in Sudan.
These positions have clearly reaffirmed support for the legitimate Government in Sudan and underscored respect for the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the country. They have further rejected any measures or initiatives undertaken outside the framework of the official institutions of the Republic of the Sudan, stressing that such actions do not represent the will of the Sudanese people and lack any constitutional or popular legitimacy. The declarations rightly pointed out that the aforementioned step holds no legal or political standing, having been advanced by an unlawful alliance with no constitutional basis or democratic mandate.
The Government of Sudan considers these principled positions to be a reflection of the commitment of these nations to the values of international law and legitimate governance. While expressing its sincere gratitude and appreciation for their solidarity, Sudan looks forward to deepening its cooperation with these partners in support of Sudan’s unity, security, and sustainable stability.
