In line with the Government of the Republic of Sudan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and constructive cooperation with the United States of America, His Excellency Ambassador Mohieddin Salem Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, is undertaking an official visit to Washington, D.C., at the invitation of the Government of the United States of America.

This visit comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to develop relations between Khartoum and Washington, and to continue dialogue on issues of mutual interest, including support for peace in Sudan, the enhancement of economic and humanitarian cooperation, and discussing opportunities to rebuild relations based on mutual respect and common interests.
